José Carlos is a Senior Data Scientist within the ACSS team at Université Paris-Dauphine, where he applies Machine Learning techniques to solve Business and Social Science problems in research and industry. He holds a PhD in Computer Science focused on Optimising Big Data applications for heterogeneous architectures. He also holds two Master's degrees: MBA and MSc. in Mechatronics Engineering. Prior to his PhD he worked two years in industry as a Software Engineer. He has taught at Bachelor and Master level in Programming, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, Mathematics and Physics.
